I post this, as I hurriedly pack the last of my tropical wardrobe for my first visit to Bali.

I've luckily enjoyed many trips to Asia - Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, as well as living in Vietnam for part of 2010, but surprisingly (especially to most Aussies), I've never visited Bali.

I'm really looking forward to checking out a new city, meeting some locals, savouring delicious Indonesian cuisine, and of course the shopping!

Of course, I welcome any tips, must sees/dos.

  1. Clear Cafe in Ubud is owned by an old friend of mine - great interior and amazing vegetarian cuisine! Visit the Monkey Forest in Ubud then enjoy lunch at Clear! A x

  13. cute outfit! I just got back from Bali a week ago! Make sure you go to Potato Head in Kuta it's amazing and as for restaurants try Biku and Sea Circus :)

  15. Prettiest place by far is rock bar - you need to go early to beat the traffic and get a good spot, if you are game walk down the stairs instead of waiting for the inclinator :) xxx

    ps the corner store in seminyak does a mean breakfast and coffee
